Orders
dropControllers are built is small batches and are normally in stock, however, it may take several days to process an order.
Custom controllers / custom devices are built to order and the development/build time is different for every order. This will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.
Cancellations
Orders that have not shipped can be cancelled for a full refund minus handling fees. Refunds can only be sent to the original form of payment.
Orders for custom controller are not covered by the full refund policy and refunds are based on the amount of work already performed. If work has not started, then a full refund minus handling fees is usual. If work has already started, then a partial refund minus the cost of work already done & materials purchased may be possible.
Payment
Payments are through PayPal Business. Payments can be made from PayPal accounts, credit cards, or debit cards. PayPal may offer other payment options depending on your country.
VAT/import tax
International orders may be subject to an import tax/duty on arrival at the destination country, this is payable by the receiver. If tax is applicable the courier will contact you to arrange a payment. If the payment is refused the package will be returned and we will be forced to pay the duty and also the return shipping. In such cases the full costs will be deducted from a refund.
Shipping
We use several different shipping methods and the ship method used is based on the order size/weight and the destination. Shipping costs will vary depending on the order size and the destination. Full costs and details are given in the quote. Tracking information is emailed at the time of despatch.
Warranty
dropControllers have 12 month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects/manufacturing failure (shipping costs not covered). If your dropController does not work as intended please contact us as soon as possible.
If a dropController fails during regular use within one year of purchase by the original buyer, please let me know as soon as possible. Please include a description of the problem.
Warranty covers pre-built dropControllers only.
dropController DIY kits are not covered. Sorry, too many possible user issues. However, if you an issue with a kit please contact me and I will help as best I can.
