    I’m just wondering why do we need to control the flash separately, what if we trigger only camera and let the camera fire the flashes through remote trigger attached to it.

    Using the camera shutter and camera activated flash does not provide a reliably timed shot. If you record the actual time the camera shutter triggers it is not exactly the same every time. You also have problems with flash sync speed.

    Using an open shutter and triggering the flashes give very precise control over the timings and this is the basis for most high speed photography.
